Not a problem, Fireblizz! I was expecting a sequel to Christine, but I'm glad they never did one. The original version is all we'll ever need!

For me , i ahve to agree with Solekid2u.
the most memorable of movie scenes for me...well actually i have two. The death of Uncas (is that how you spell it? ), slayed and butchered before the eyes of his prospect love - by Magua (played by wes studi...wow, get a lump in my throat each time I see that scene and hear the theme during it, overhwhelming cinema piece) ![]() and then his girl, who leaps to her death... ![]() heh ![]() but not to worry ! that dudes dad, shows up and PWNS Magua's ass one time ! ![]() (cut - chop - slash - smash , die bastard ! ) ![]() history rocks. cos it was so full of gore n shit heh. ![]() but beating that scene is the scene from True Romance. cinema was never meant to be pretty and appealing to our ethical and moral expectations. cinema (good cinema) ought to push those boundaries, and the best directors and script writers direct and produce scripts which engage us in a way which instigates a powerful response, and evokes 'feel good' or 'feel disgusted' emotions. The infamous 'sicilians scene' from True romance is the best ive ever seen for a few reasons which im about to explain now. it was way too early in cinema history I feel, for that type of dialogue in a movie, that script and scene to be shown at the time it was. 1993 ffs. 2001, 2002 accepted. but thats how daring and bold Tarantino was. credit to the guy. He loves making movies and he loves the fact there are peopel who love wathcing his movies more than he loves making them. and that motivates him. that to me, simply makes a winner - a guy who will never get bored of his job and constantly produce QUALITY material for his viewers. Hopper knew his game was over the moment he was ambushed and strapped down to that chair. Walkens character interroragates and tries to intimidate hoppers character. in the end, hopper decides to go out with a bang - and ensure walken kills him before he tortures answers out of him. that is why he provoked him into a moment of rage - and wlken shot him. his only ace up his sleave was the whole 'sicilians were spawned by niggers , youre half eggplant' jibe. and it worked. not nice and not pretty to hear if youre black/non-caucasian or even caucasian ....but the thing about it was, hoppers character wasnt racist in the movie. walkens was. if walkens character wasnt racist he'd have not killed him over that jibe hoppers character made. heres the last of the mohicans scene and the true romance scilians scene. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=--Z45aw8b7c (the ending of Last of the mohicans including Duncans death and Uncas's death and his bitch killing herself and then ... * catches his breath* , Uncas's oldman showing up and pwning Magua for killing his boy ) ![]()

Oh this is so weird becuase up until a few months ago the True Romance scene was my faourite second to none. But then...came Antichrist.
Now the film itself is heavy and some may love it, some may hate it. Not imprtant - we are judging scsnes and I think on this occasion we can seperate the scene from the movie (can we do that?) I'm not sure?! Is it possible to have a great (and I mean really great) scene in a not so great movie? Maybe. I digress anyway - becuase I happen to think Lars Von Triers Antichrist is a great movie - and the openning scene is one of absolute perfection. You don't need to have seen the whole film - you don't even need to plan to see it - I think the scene stands well on it's own. Check it out - film buffs or anyone loving film should watch this movie. Okay - here's the scene which I consider - perhaps - maybe - could tie for my lead in greatest cinematic scene of all time (perhaps there should be a greatest openning thread. Anyway, openning, scene, whatever - check this out: (warning - there is a shot of a man's dick entering his love - if this is likely to offend do not watch [I wish they had cut that bit out myself but there you go]). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=431uyhPiFr0&p Edit - Replaced link with better quality colours were out in last one spoiling the whole scene:( Sk

that 'scililian' scene from True Romance was indeed a fucking master stroke, by the filmmakers/director/script writers...controversial yes, but it was a scene with dialogue way ahead of its time.
thats what makes it EASILY one of the top 3 greatest movie scenes ever in my opinion. were the public in 1993 READY for a scene like that in a movie ??? i dont think so. and 'great movie scenes' dont neccesarily even have to be like that at all. sometimes the classic feel good flicks, or cheesy 80s flicks have some great scenes. The entire 'robocop' flick has like, great scenes. one of the most memorable movie scenes for me came from 1980s flicks as well as the 1990s flicks. call me odd - but i think a lot of Jean Claude Van Dammes movies had some MEMORABLE scenes remember that scene in Kickboxer where hes drunk in that bar and he pwns all those goons and starts dancing ? ![]() its one of the toughest questions posted on here... but here are 10 'off the top of my head' scenes in movies i'll never forget (for w/e reason, i just wont) ![]() 1. You're Scilian Arent you ? - True Romance 2. I know now why you cry - Terminator 2 3. Any scene from the 'Lost Boys' (1987) ![]() 4. Magua slaying Uncas - Last Of The Mohicans 5. Jaws - Jaws pwning kids \m/6. Back To The Future - # earth angel earth angel wont you be mine ? my darling love i'll love you all the time # 7. You think he was white before ? you should see that sucker now ! - The People Under The Stairs ![]() 8. Scenes from Edward Scissor Hands - amazing flick, great 'xmas movie' i reckon. ![]() 9. That creepy man/woman in the Poltergiest flick(s)... too tired to imdb.com him/her up. ![]() 10. Whats the most you've ever lost on a coin toss ? - Anton Chigurh - No Country For Old Men (one of my fave movies of the late 2000's) could go on and on and on...

You are correct there are just too many. Another favourite of mine comes from For a Few Dollars More - and one scene in particular - a dual - check out the score, and the time piece music and subtle on screen acting comes together to create one of Sergio Leone's most memorable scenes (not counting the awsome openning to Once Upon a Time in the West: Uploaded with ImageShack.us
