Differentiate new posts?

  Votes: 0
I don't know if it's just me, or the fact that this account is a new account, but I can't see any differentiation between 'new posts since I last viewed site' and other posts. It's a fairly common feature in web forums and is pretty handy.

Noted. Should be able to add something like this fairly easily.

So would Yuku's implementation of this be satisfactory, or have you seen it done better on another board (vbulletin/phpbb/invision/etc.)? It's not a feature that I use myself personally, so I'm still in the process of researching everything about it.

I think it is the lack of this feature in combination with the small text size that makes this forum a bit daunting to get through at times.

I find Yuku's method good enough. An icon that changes next to the post and changing the link color when it has been read. At very least changing the link color after the thread has been visited would be really nice.

Yeah the graphics and text and layout aren't the best right now, as we are working without a graphic designer. If anyone wants to help out in that area, shoot me an email or a PM.

We have a visited link color picked out, I just have to get it implemented so that it only appears in the forums, and not on some of the main interface links. Should be able to get this up soon.

If the text is giving you trouble, for now you can manually change the size in your browser (CTRL + mousewheel in Firefox works nicely) until we have some additional skins available.

Also a bug: the spacing in the post editor is weird, and single spacing results in some incorrect double spacing. Will look into this one.
