This has been bugging me for a while, and I decided to vent. I can't believe these people call themselves Christians and protest soldiers funerals. As the girlfriend of an Air Force officer and being the daughter and niece of military personnel, this pisses me off more than I could ever begin to say. What kind of family allows their 3 year olds to say things like "God hates Fags" ??? Honestly, I'm MORE than angry. *sigh* I don't know what else to say. See for yourself. | ||

He IS actually going out for Pilot, and you have no fucking clue what kind of person he is. He would never kill a civilian, thats not what they are trained to do. The military is not filled with a bunch of retards, believe it or not, they plan and mark coordinates, and clear as much area as they can before even attempting to strike a target. And havent you seen Generation Kill? They evacuated the whole fucking town before trying anything.

As well as not getting to contact your family to let them know that you're still fucking alive. Your wife doesn't have to dread every minute of every day of every god damn month not knowing whether her husband has been killed or taken hostage or is being tortured. Your 1 year old old little girl doesn't have to go through life possibly never knowing her daddy. You have NO fucking clue of the gravity of what you're saying dickwad, no fucking clue. Also, whether it is a military funeral or not, NOBODY and I mean NOBODY deserves to have their funerals picketed by a bunch of super-religious people. I was baptized as a Roman Catholic this year, and not even I am so religious as they are. The biggest problem is that they are so blind and so wrong. If anyone is going to hell, its them. | ||

I invite you to share you opinions at the nearest military base. You do know that if any military personnel attacks a civilian, they're in for a world of hurt, right? Just an FYI. He is defending your freedoms and you have the nerve to say some shit like that? Soleart, I hate to break it to you, but no one over there is defending anyone's freedoms over here. It's the people who are on the floor of The Senate & Congress, The ACLU & other groups that defend our freedoms. When we get invaded or attacked, then the military will be defending our freedoms. What your boyfriend & family members are doing is their job, nothing more, nothing less. There are wives & husbands of police officers & SWAT team members that probably feel the same way that you do. When it comes to ANY dangerous job, people worry about their significant others. I'm honestly tired of the military personnel & family members of military personnel who feel that they have some God given right to slander other people's professions & what they do in life. If you were in 'Nam, then yeah, you didn't have a choice...but now a days, you have a choice whether or not to go in and if you do go in, just do your fucking job & be humble about it. Don't walk around, wvaing your dick around expecting others to suck it just because you did something that you VOLUNTARILY chose to do. I work in Collections and you don't see me walking around expecting praise & accolades for doing my job. And I'm also tired of the people who fucking provoke the military personnel & their families....because they're the ones that cause them to get all enturbulated & pissy. Those people are also no better or worse than the families they're provoking. It's like "just leave 'em alone and let them mourn or praise their family members & friends in peace", you know?
