Socialism? The only thing that´s nationalized is the debt (the costs for fixing the crisis), the profits remain private. Next they will tell us, that there is "no money" for schools, health care, welfare ect, because "we" have spent too much.
The only reason why they give money to the poor countries (resp. the elites of these countries), is because otherwise those countries couldn´t pay the debt, which would bring even more trouble to the banking system. | ||

I'm glad, though, that there are people like Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich to stand up for us. The rest of the self-serving assholes need to be taught a lesson. How about we fire the entire Congress in this next election (with the possible exception of Paul and Kucinich?

I think you might be confused. This isn't socialism, it's more like socialism for the super-rich. A more accurate term would be corporatism. I like some of the things that Ron Paul criticizes but he's against regulating the banks. That's the whole reason we're in this mess! Dennis Kucinich, Barry Sanders and Alan Grayson are guys you should follow. They speak out against wall street, bankers and the FED.
